Nikko area including the shrine is listed as a UNESCO cultural heritage list. Kegon fall, its height 97m, is one of the three great fall in Japan.
Kamakura is another interest that is located 50km southwest of Tokyo and accessed about 70 minutes by commuter train. You can visit many temples, shrines, historical and cultural places because the city is old and used to be the seat of samurai government from 12th to 14th century.
